Some of my nicknames Ambi, Ambrose. I have three sisters and two brothers. I play bass drum in the band which is a lot of fun as well as marching band. I enjoy science class so i hope biology will be just as fun.

It is a natural fiber harvested from the cotton plant.
It is one of the oldest fibers under human cultivation, with traces of cotton over 7,000 years old recovered from archaeological sites.
It is also one of the most used natural fibers in existence today.
The plant is a shrub native to tropical and subtropical regions around the world, including Americas, Africa, India, and Pakistan.
The fiber most often spun into yarn or thread and used to make a soft breathable textile.
It was most widely used natural fiber cloth in clothing today.
The botanical purpose of cotton fiber is aid in seed-dispersal.
Cotton is used to make fireproof appeals suitable for professional use.
Cotton is used for every type pf clothing, from coats to jackets to foundation garments.

Diffusion and Osmosis Lab Data Table
Before
After
Potato 1
Mass: 4.7g
Mass: 6g Gained 2g
It is in plain water
It Gained water
Potato 2
Mass: 5.5g
Mass: 5g Lost .5g
It is in salt water
It darkened and lost water
Dialysis Tubing
Mass: 38.9g
Mass: 38g
Filled with starch solution.
Solution turned to a dark purple color
The osmosis occurred in the Dialysis tubing because the iodine pass through the tubing.
The diffusion occurred in the potato's because of the natural movement of the water in the potatoes. The potato in the salt water lost .5g of water. The potato in the plain water had gained 2g of water.
DNA Replication Project
This is the DNA helix
The DNA helix is unwound and looks like this.
The Hydrogen Bonds begin to split to gain a new 1 or 2 strand.
Strand 1 gets a new strand 2. They are identical and forms another DNA helix.
Telomerers- it is the repeative DNA at the end of a eukaryotic chromosome
Okazaki Fragment- a short fragment of DNA on the lagging strand during DNA replication
DNA ligase- stiches the okazki fragments together
Telomerase- enzyme that adds telomere
Cancer- it's cells has the ability to divide indefintely
Trasnplanted cells- the cell gets removed and transformed for the product the person cannot make
Cloning- where a cell is coppied
Aging-the cells die faster
